Energetic,
fanatical, and at times jaw-dropping, Family Force 5 hits the scene running.
Business Up Front, Party in the Back is unlike anything you have
ever heard. A mixture of rock, rap, electronica and funk, Family Force
5 is best to be shared with those liking a mish-mash of styles.
Currently backed by two major labels (Maverick and Gotee Records) it’s
only a matter of time till they start getting the recognition they so
deserve.
Catching comparisons of Limp Bizket, Kid Rock and Beastie Boys, Family
Force 5’s high-speed energy make for a fun party album. “Drama
Queen” and “Put Your Hands Up” are just a few funky
examples of the Party in the Back.
But despite their silly side, the fab five can still get serious, as shown
in “Replace Me,” talking about having a meaningful relationship
with God.
Though this album offers plenty of diversity, it is very hit and miss!
You will either love it or it won’t appeal to you. Yet, if you’re
in the mood for a sound you’ve never heard before, this album is
a must-have.
